Why Hannah?
Hannah’s story in 1 Samuel 1 & 2 is not just about wanting a baby. It is about a woman in deep emotional distress who pours out her fears to the Lord and is met with His compassion and help. Her story is relatable to women who feel anxious, overwhelmed, or uncertain about what lies ahead. Hannah was a hurting woman who found hope in God. Our goal is to create a place where hurting, scared, or unsure women can also find hope through both practical and gospel-centered support.
Women facing fears about childbirth or caring for an infant often feel:
Alone
Overwhelmed
Emotionally vulnerable
Unsure if they are strong enough
Hannah’s story shows us that:
God sees women in emotional distress
God listens to their cries
God meets them with mercy
God brings hope into fearful situations
